Surgery

A few weeks prior in her annual exam, our vet, Dr. Tom, found Chesney had chipped a permanent tooth. He originally offered to send us to the University of Minnesota for a root canal. However after discussing other options, Jordan decided it would be best to extract the tooth completely from Chesney’s mouth. During surgery, the vet found another tooth that needed to be extracted, along with two other teeth needing to be “bonded.” Our vet believes Chesney is an aggressive chewer with her toys. Although surgery went well for Chesney, it was unexpected. We are hoping for a fast recovery for Chesney.
